Should I be taking a multi-vitamin everyday for overall good health?
I’m 29 y/o female, should I be taking a daily multi-vitamin? I bought a bottle of women’s 1 a day but haven’t been taking them regularly.
What are signs of overall vitamin deficiency?
What about vitamin D deficiency specifically?
Kyle, why do you suggest fish oil tablets?
Thanks nUts.
I’ve been doing a fair share of research on Vitamin D, as I think it’s important and more and more discoveries are coming to light illustrating just how important it is…
Vitamin D can affect –
Cancer
Diabetes
your Immune System
Cholesterol
"There are several forms of vitamin D. Enzymes in the liver, kidney and other tissues of the body modify the vitamin by adding different chemical groups such as hydroxyl groups to the core vitamin. Some supplements contain vitamin D2 (ergocalciferol), a precursor of vitamin D3. D2 is only 1/4th as active as D3. The conversion of vitamin D2 to the more active form vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) is a spontaneous reaction in the body. Once vitamin D3 is produced, it requires chemical conversion in the liver and kidney to form 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D (calcitriol), the physiologically active form of vitamin D. Therefore I recommend you make sure the vitamin D you are taking on a daily basis is the D3 form." Dr. Ben – http://juvenon.com/jhj/vol5no04.htm
taking a good multi vitamin is IMPORTANT, not only for now, but for years to come.
I’ve been doing most of my vitamin reading from these newsletters – http://juvenon.com/science/jhj.htm
Good Luck!
Yes you should be taking one as it is healthy for you.
You proabalby wouldn’t notice deficiency in any vitamins but when you have the right amount of all of them you’ll feel better.
Vit D is very important along with calcium for women. Even if you drink milk daily you should be taking a calcium supplement to prevent the bones from weakening/depleating.
Fish oil would also be a great addition.

I’m not kyle but fish oil is extremely good for your skin. I took it for a month+ and didn’t have any acne, pimples and my skin looked really good. Still does.
